Neot Green Mobility accelerates electrification of road transport in Germany with delivery of first electric trucks

Neot Green Mobility has taken a key step in the transition to low-carbon mobility with the delivery of the first Volvo Trucks electric trucks in Germany. Around 30 vehicles have already been put on the road, marking the effective start of a partnership aimed at deploying 75 electric trucks by 2026

This project, which has been awarded grants under the KsNI program ((Klimafreundliche Nutzfahrzeuge: a funding programme led by the Bundesamt für Logistik und Mobilität (Federal Office for Logistics and Mobility)), will demonstrate the operational relevance of electric trucks to accelerate their deployment, and represents a strong commitment in favour of developing low-carbon transport.

Neot takes its first strategic step in Germany
This program is a double first for Neot:

  • First project in Germany, a key market for the energy transition in road transport.
  • First financing solution dedicated to electric trucks, with vehicles ranging from 18-ton rigids to 44-ton tractors.

The agreement provides for Truck-as-a-Service contracts including vehicle provision, maintenance and monitoring for periods of 4 to 5 years, with the possibility of extension.

A concrete impact for the energy transition
Thanks to this 100% electric fleet, the project will completely reduce emissions linked to truck operation. With annual mileage of between 50,000 and 150,000 km per truck, the expected environmental benefits are significant.

This operation illustrates our commitment to accelerating the adoption of low-carbon mobility solutions in Europe. By facilitating access to financing and subsidies, we are enabling key players in the transport sector to take a decisive step towards the electrification of their fleets,” says Philippe Ringenbach, CEO of Neot Green Mobility.

“Volvo Trucks is a global leader in medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks with eight battery electric models in its portfolio.
